General: This is a standalone novel about five women in an MFA program, and the ways in which they are wonderful-terrible to each other and regular-terrible to the men they create out of animal corpses. General: CtL is the tabletop game of my whole entire heart and I just want to live in that world a bit more! I have a slight preference for stories set in Arcadia or the Hedge, but absolutely will not say no to Earth-set ones. Sourcebook-wise, I am most familiar with Dancers in the Dusk, Winter Masques, and Night Horrors. I especially love oneiromancy and am super weak for stories that contrast the deep sense of place/setting with changelings' very tenuous sense of self. I'm always here for body horror, but for this canon especially - when in doubt, lovingly cut someone's eyes out and replace them with flowers and/or gems. Adhere as strictly or loosely to game mechanics as feels right for your story.

General: Did I think this would be a fun way to waste six hours while watching Lesley Sharp be hot and morally ambiguous in a trenchcoat? Yes. Did I end up with many more feelings than I had planned for? Also yes. I like worldbuilding and fucked-up codependency and know nothing about the anime(?) this was based on.

General: I am several years late BUT I love this terrible demon lady who just wants to be (re)written into existence so she can do terrible things. This is extremely fun pretty horror told non-linearly and partially-fictionally. I love almost all of it, ending excepted, and I want more! I'm open to adding Marianne to any of the 'x/Emma' ships, especially with Marianne possessing the other woman. I'm happy with unhappy/not-together-by-the-end/one-sided/closer-to-& takes on any of these ships, and my character death DNW is waived for this canon.

Note: I'm fine with references to canon noncon, but would like a canon divergence so Emma doesn't end up pregnant.

General: This show has a thesis of 'why be a girl when you could be an eldritch horror instead' because it loves me. I love the bonds and the backstabbing and the love-through-horror, I love the changeling girls and the amount of respect it gives stories of self-creation. I love the contrast between the suffocating boarding-school atmosphere and the equally terrifying 'I would like to let the sky eat me' of the Rock and how that's reflected in the characters' emotional relationships. Permadeath of any of the requested characters is fine for this fandom, as is ambiguous/show-consistent explanations of what happened at the Rock. The show does so much excellent work with forests that probably want to eat you/nature which tries to eat you/nature which wants to crawl inside you and never come out and I want to see infinitely more of it!

General: Oh man, this weird little show. I wrote a huge amount here about it (full of spoilers!), and there were a lot of things I wish it had done differently but it also gave me so many fascinating building blocks. I was not wholly sold on the supernatural aspects of it, so this canon especially I would love to see a Changeling: The Lost or Vampire: The Requiem AU, to see what other supernatural things would look like with these characters and their pasts.

Fandom-specific DNW: Anyone but Sylvia as the single post-1x06 cult surviver. If you want to fiddle with things so that e.g. only Kendrick dies, go for it, but if you stick with the four deaths, I want Sylvia to be the one who made it out.

I love all sides of the Julie-Gill-Janet-Rachel square, so fic combining any of these ships (e.g. Gill/Julie + Janet/Rachel, or past Gill/Janet + present Janet/Rachel) is fine. Feel free to bring in any elements of book canon that you like - I've read all three.

General: I like worldbuiling and pre-canon stories, especially stories about Lilith slowly siphoning witches away from Satan, stories where Sabrina (or Zelda, or the Weird Sisters) sign their name over to Lilith directly rather than into the Book of the Beast, and stories about centuries of history and the distinctly inhuman perceptions and desires of witches and demons. There's so many levels of glorious fucked-up obsessive mentorship here along with, you know, the gore and the deification-via-cannibalism and I love all of them. General: I love sun-drenched horror and terrifying catharsis and weird magic and how identity is simultaneously lost and affirmed and FOLK HORROR and just. This movie!! In-universe vampires are good. Dreamsharing is VERY good. Fic incorporating Elder Futhark runes and traditional Swedish music is a great bonus if you're conversant with them.

For Amélie ships, I have no preference if fic is set when she's Amélie or Widowmaker or both, and I also don't have a preference for never-married-to-Gerard!AUs vs pining/infidelity/open marriage so - whatever works for your fic! If Mercy's relevant to your fic, I am happy to see dark!Mercy as well as Overwatch!Mercy. Leaning into the body horror aspects around Ana's missing eye encouraged (I have a special love for flowers growing in the empty eye socket, because, well, I'm me) but not required. Any AU based off any skins for the requested characters (e.g. witch!Mercy, pirate!Ana, comtesse!Amélie) is welcome even if I haven't specified the general version of that AU in my likes. General: I am not usually one for zombie stories but this show was absolutely irresistible (...Anjali Bhimani in that dress was admittedly irresistible first, but I fell in love with the show too). I love the setting-as-character, the magic, the DREAMS, the way that the characters run up against each others' sharp edges and the beautiful freedom for distrust and not being friends that the limited run allowed. I'm here for the supernatural, both the bits we see and any extra bits you want to add (I have a profound soft spot for werewolf!Arabella). Canon-style undead are fine and do not hit my zombies DNW. I'm happy for AUs where Miriam never had a husband/he was a terrible one who she killed and escaped from like we were all sort of playing with post-ep 3.

There's a few AUs I've requested across all or mostly-all fandoms, so I'm going to put some general ramblings about why I love them up here to start with!

Aniara AU: Harry Martinson's Aniara is an epic scifi poem about a group of travellers fleeing a dying Earth and heading to Mars. When their ship swerves to avoid an asteroid they get flung off course, stranded forever in space. It's a poem about beauty in emptiness, about connection and perception and ways to make the void meaningful. Isagel and the narrator are the main ship from the poem, but don't feel that means you need to cast the requested the requested characters as them (I also love Isagel/The Blind Poetess, and am totally happy to see the requested characters as just regular passengers as well). In the Star Wars and Stargate requests, feel free to go for a fusion - the requested characters stumbling upon the Aniara on its voyage, or the poem rewritten as an in-universe legend. If you want to bring in things from pre-existing adaptations, I am most familiar with Seventh Wonder's 'The Great Escape' (youtube, lyrics) and Andreas Kleerup's Aniara which is on Spotify - I haven't seen the opera.

Changeling: The Lost AU: CtL is the tabletop game of my heart, and I just - want all my favourites to be in that world too. Please have them be captured by the Fae and bond while being transformed and navigating court politics - or have them be True Fae themselves. I have a slight preference for stories set in Arcadia or the Hedge, but absolutely will not say no to Earth-set ones. Sourcebook-wise, I am most familiar with Dancers in the Dusk, Winter Masques, and Night Horrors. I especially love oneiromancy and am super weak for stories that contrast the deep sense of place/setting with changelings' very tenuous sense of self.

Scandinoir Setting/Fusion: I don't have a preference as to whether you place the requested characters in a general Scandinoir setting or if you cross/fuse them with a specific show - my favourites of the genre are probably Jordskott, Bron|Broen, and Grenseland, but if it's Scandinoir I have probably watched it. For the Star Wars requests, feel free to keep the Force as a semi-explained magical thing or not. I like the optimistic bleakness of Scandinoir, the way people carve out tiny safe havens for each other: devotion among crime, half-alive cities, the sense of 'us and the world against the bad things'.

Space Pirates AU: This is the straightforward one. The requested characters are pirates, and they are IN SPACE, and I am happy. For the Stargate and Star Wars requests, feel free to make them canonverse space pirates or not as the mood strikes you.

The Shimmer (Annihilation) appears in another canon's setting: *Points at the pretty plant-based body horror* I dunno, I just think it's neat. Well, no, I do know: I love changeling stories and nature-as-hungry-entity stories and stories about how desolation is never bleak and usually alive. For these requests I am most interested in seeing what Area X looks like for those other canons: we know what it looks like in not-Florida, so what does it look like in the forests around Whitestone, the middle of the Unknown Regions, in the basement sections of Atlantis that are still half underwater?

Vampire: The Requiem AU: Look, you can never go wrong with making my faves vampires! But VtR vampires are exceptionally good, like, let vampires be monsters! Lean into the horror, the crumbling of the world, the bonds that are formed against peoples' better judgement. Sourcebook-wise I am most familiar with Coteries and Circle of the Crone.


General: I consider the campaign guide, artbook, and anything said on Talks Machina nebulously canon at best (and don't know much of what's said on Talks, because I can neither watch live nor afford Alpha) so feel free to conform to/depart from what they say as you wish. I'm familiar with most wider D&D lore/sourcebooks/mechanics from 3.5e onwards, including 5e's unearthed arcana, if you want inspiration for additional worldbuilding/plotting (though I know 4e best). I like fics that take into account mechanical D&D limitations (e.g. characters saying they need to rest before doing any more magic) but DNW characters using the actual real-world terms (e.g. characters saying they're 'out of spell slots'). I adore 4e's epic destinies and would love it if you incorporated relevant ones for the requested characters (special love for World Tree Guardian!Keyleth, Master of the Eternal Hunt!Vex, and Archspell!Delilah with Finger of Death, but, yknow, go wild!). Canonverse Vampire!Cassandra and fey!Vex are welcome AUs for any of these ships.

General: Witchy murderforest of my whole entire heart and all the women and girls it loves, ahhhh. This show has so many beautiful things to say about love and care and loss and obsession and it's eaten me as surely as Silverhojd has eaten Josefine. Tell me stories about witches and women and love and life and forests and I will be so, so happy. I would be totally happy with gen, but I ship Eva/Jeanette, Eva/Klara, Eva/Laila, Eva/Zara, Laila/Zara, Esme/Linus, and Esme/Maja, if you want to write something shippy. I headcanon Linus as nonbinary, but don't feel beholden to that if you involve him in fics. General: This show has a thesis of 'why be a girl when you could be an eldritch horror instead' because it loves me, it really loves me. I love the bonds and the backstabbing and the love-through-horror, I love the changeling girls and the amount of respect it gives stories of self-creation. I love the contrast between the suffocating boarding-school atmosphere and the equally terrifying 'I would like to let the sky eat me' of the Rock and how that's reflected in the characters' emotional relationships. Permadeath of any of the requested characters is fine for this fandom, as is ambiguous/show-consistent explanations of what happened at the Rock. The show does so much excellent work with forests that probably want to eat you/nature which tries to eat you/nature which wants to crawl inside you and never come out and I want to see infinitely more of it! Sith and vampire AUs especially adored for this fandom.

Fandom-specific DNW: Any m/f ships apart from background Marianne/Ira, Brexit references (the show's set in 2015 so it's only really releveant if you're doing futurefic, and you don't have to, like, have a line about how Remain won in 2016 (though I would not say no to it), just let me pretend they live in a world where they're not about to get fucked over by this bit of pure evil).

General: I love them as a changeling story, I love them as a story of nature-as-entity, I love them as a story of how desolation is never bleak and usually alive. I would prefer you use the characters' professions to describe them (eg "the psychologist" ) in narration, rather than their names. I am fine with canon-consistent 'being eaten by Area X' for either of the requested characters but DNW them to die in any other way. The canon by nature is playing with some pretty dark questions about embodiment and environmental catastrophes and death, but there's plenty of potential for light and joy - there is plenty of light and joy for both the requested characters as they give themselves back over to Area X, so don't be afraid to lean into that. I've read all three books and my prompts do get kinda spoilery, but if you've only read Annihilation, I welcome fic based only off that. I love the journal style of Annihilation and epistolary fic is especially welcome for this fandom.

General: Oh hey this weird book about fucked-up missionary siblings in clockwork Fairyland snuck into my life and ruined me and I would love to be further ruined by any fic you write! I really, really loved the Changeling!Cathy faux-reveal and was a bit put out by its last-chapter reversal (all books can do with more weird changelings, lbr), so any Changeling!Cathy fic - or fic where she's human but grappling with the fact that she enjoyed elements of the time when she thought she was a soulless creature - is always adored. Canon-compliant deathfic for Ariel is fine - especially if it leads to Mab further manipulating/fucking with Cathy, and Cathy continuing to spiral about her identity, but I am also thrilled by any AU you come up with where she survives or is brought back. I ship loads of things a stupidly intense amount - Cathy/Laon, Cathy/Ariel, Cathy/Mab, Mab/Ariel, Cathy/Kasdaye, they're all incredibly good - so if you want to write shipfic, go for it! Just lean into the weird and I'm happy!

I've by and large chosen canons I love for their worldbuilding and mytharcs as well as their characters and relationships, and I am easy to please as long as you stay away from my DNWs (both general and canon-specific), so don't feel like you Have to write any of my specific prompts. General: I love that Whitney and Angie and to some extent Peggy were set up as certain images of Idealised Americana while Dottie at times tended towards being her own Idealised Russia. I love the darkness and potential for noir tropes that were hinted at but never fully explored, especially when it comes to Los Angeles and New York as characters and the possibilities of - to borrow a lovely tag from my darkestnightex request - architectural horror inherent there (Weird zero matter voids! The bottom of the lake in Echo Park! That one metro station in New York that everyone knows is Wrong, Somehow (I know very little about NYC but every metro system has a station like that lbr). Very good for trapped and forced to work together to survive fics!. I love all of the weird awful things that could be done with zero matter. I love this show the most when it's about bodies and collisions and weird push-pulls of trust and these women's attempts at control. I'm not familiar with much of the wider Marvel universe and prefer you avoid it. IN SPACE AUs and dark fairy tale AUs welcome. OT3s and the OT4 with the requested characters are fine.

I like stories about Lilith slowly siphoning witches away from Satan, and stories where Sabrina (or Zelda, or the Weird Sisters) sign their name over to Lilith directly rather than into the Book of the Beast, and stories about centuries of history and the distinctly inhuman perceptions and desires of witches and demons. There's so many levels of glorious fucked-up obsessive mentorship here along with, you know, the gore and the cannibalism and the deification-via-cannibalism and I love all of them.

General: I consider the campaign guide, artbook, and anything said on Talks Machina nebulously canon at best (and don't know much of what's said on Talks, because I can neither watch live nor afford Alpha) so feel free to conform to/depart from what they say as you wish. I'm familiar with most wider D&D lore/sourcebooks/mechanics from 3.5e onwards, including 5e's unearthed arcana, if you want inspiration for additional worldbuilding/plotting (though I know 4e best). I like fics that take into account mechanical D&D limitations (e.g. characters saying they need to rest before doing any more magic) but DNW characters using the actual real-world terms (e.g. characters saying they're 'out of spell slots'). I adore 4e's epic destinies and would love it if you incorporated relevant ones for the requested characters (special love for World Tree Guardian!Keyleth, Master of the Eternal Hunt!Vex, and Archspell!Delilah with Finger of Death, but, yknow, go wild!). Canonverse Vampire!Cassandra is a welcome AU for any of these ships.

General: I don't know what good I did to the universe to get this show in return but wow is this blood-soaked grimly funny chase across London and Russia and half of Europe the show of my dreams. I love how bright Villanelle is in everything she does, I love her twisted undeniable logic and her unstoppable yearning. I tend to think of some level of Villanelle/Eve as basically canon, and though I'm leaving it off my request list in favour of my rarer Villanelle pairs, I don't think it's entirely avoidable and I'm totally here for that sort of conflict between Villanelle's multiple desires pulling her towards conflicting (or perhaps ultimately nonconflicting?) goals. Canon-compliant deathfic for Nadia is okay.

General: I know it's been five years since it ended but this is still the spy show of my heart and I love all these sad glamorous dubiously-moral assassins. I am fine with background Nikita/Owen, Nikita/Alex, Amanda/Alex, or Nikita/Ryan, but DNW Nikita/Michael.

General: I prefer things set post-Fall and love things set post-recall, especially for Ana. Missionfic is just as much of a delight as something more introspective. Exploration of how their powers/weapons could be used during or to facilitate sex is great (I love Moira's interest in picking people apart) and while angst and darkfic and dubcon are all encouraged, I'd rather you don't get too clinical/medical in descriptions of Moira's experiments. For Amélie ships, I have no preference if fic is set when she's Amélie or Widowmaker (or both! both is also good). I don't have specific prompts for the Ana/Amélie/Moira OT3 but if you want to include it (as either a triad or a V-ship) feel free!

I am indifferent to Beren and Manwë, dislike Eol, and have no infidelity-related squicks, so handle the canon marriages however you like.

I love that it's a poem about beauty in emptiness, about connection and perception and ways to make the void meaningful. If you are poetry-writing-inclined I would absolutely die of delight to get an epic-or-otherwise poem in Martinson's style in response to this request, but it's super not a requirement so don't worry if you're not. If you want to bring in things from pre-existing adaptations, I am most familiar with Seventh Wonder's 'The Great Escape' (youtube, lyrics) and Andreas Kleerup's Aniara which is on Spotify.
