Hello friend, it is Samhain and time for spooky things and I am so excited to see what you will write for me! I love these canons for the worldbuilding and mytharcs as well as their characters and relationships, and I am easy to please as long as you stay away from my DNWs (both general and canon-specific), so don't feel like you Have to write any of my specific prompts. Don't read anything into relative lengths of sections, I am equally happy to get something for anything in this letter! Some of these prompts are reused from old letters, and if you have written them for me before, rest assured that I loved your fic, I am simply greedy and would like to see every possible take on my favourite scenarios. General: I've read most of the novels and have seen most of Crusade and have no strong feelings either way as to whether you use information/events from them or not. Anything you want to do incorporating the First Ones/weird fey space things is extra loved. Canon-divergence AUs are great, post-series fic is great. B5 was a really stunning take on not just war stories but people-in-war stories, and I love the plotty fics with complicated characters and dynamics that it lends itself to -- angst and darkfic and cosmic horror are all more than welcome here.

General: Please refer to Lilith as Lilith (rather than Madam Satan) for fic from her POV/from the POV of people who know she's no longer Mary Wardwell. I like worldbuiling and pre-canon stories, especially stories about Lilith slowly siphoning witches away from Satan, stories where Sabrina (or Zelda, or the Weird Sisters) sign their name over to Lilith directly rather than into the Book of the Beast, and stories about centuries of history and the distinctly inhuman perceptions and desires of witches and demons. There's so many levels of glorious fucked-up obsessive mentorship here along with, you know, the gore and the deification-via-cannibalism and I love all of them. Murder + in-fic resurrection/came back wrong is fine for any of these prompts. If relevant, I ship pretty much any femslash that's not Hilda/Zelda, Edward/Zelda(/Lilith), and Prudence/Sabrina/Nick as the OT3 and any component pairs. Any of the prompts from my worldbuildingex letter would be awesome, as would any of the Lilith/Sabrina, Lilith/Zelda, or Edward/Zelda marrige freeforms from justmarried this year.

General: I only vaguely keep up with the audio dramas, but feel free to incorporate however much of that canon as you want. Post-Mondas fix-its for Missy that don't involve her regenerating (or have her regenerating into Missy-again) are loved, but pre-Mondas fic is equally great. I like Time Lords using her telepathy and the sweeping glorious over-the-top-ness that characterises a lot of the show.


General: I like missionfic/casefic, especially for all the angst it gives post-Fall fic/preemptive angst it gives pre-Fall fics (I am entirely up to date on the canon), but they're not a requirement. For Amélie ships, I have no preference if fic is set when she's Amélie or Widowmaker or both, and I also don't have a preference for never-married-to-Gerard!AUs vs pining/infidelity/open marriage so - whatever works for your fic! If Mercy's relevant to your fic, I am happy to see dark!Mercy as well as Overwatch!Mercy. Leaning into the body horror aspects around Ana's missing eye encouraged (I have a special love for flowers growing in the empty eye socket, because, well, I'm me) but not required. Any AU based off any skins for the requested characters (e.g. witch!Mercy, pirate!Ana, comtesse!Amélie) is welcome even if I haven't specified the general version of that AU in my likes. If you want to address the age gaps in Ana ships, I really love how comfortable Ana is in her own skin, with her own age (even/especially her missing eye) and how that contrasts with her mixed feelings about what she's done, so anything that highlights that would be lovely.

General: This book was so good to me, you guys. Underwater criminal cities! First Order lore! Politicking! Leia being tired and bitter and just wanting to go on An Adventure! Mercenary factions! Space fights! Bloodline was great for showing the wider bits of the GFFA, and I love all the potential for worldbuilding it opened up, especially Varish and the Lonerans and Carise and Arkanis. I'm deeply indifferent to Han/Leia, so if you'd like to write Leia/Carise or Amilyn/Leia(Carise) or Leia/Varish, feel free to kill him off/pretend they were never married/presume an open marriage/whatever you like.

General: I didn't really enjoy seasons 4 & 5 of Atlantis, with the exception of Keller's presence and a couple bits of wraith lore, so would prefer nothing that relies too much on that part of canon. Fey things and sentient cities are love, old gods and half-gods and the promises and compromises made to survive in the Pegasus galaxy delight me. I'm not so much into the human-exceptionalism/campy-fun takes on the show. Canon-divergence AUs, especially Wraith Queen Teyla/Asuran Queen Elizabeth/Independent-from-Earth Atlantis, are love (all three in one fic or just one). Sentient Atlantis, whether as a worldbuilding detail or as a major plot point, will always make me happy. I love in-universe versions of the World of Darkness AUs - what is it like to be a Kindred in the Pegasus galaxy as opposed to on Earth? - or Stargate characters in the CtL versions of Arcadia/the Hedge/etc.

General: I haven't seen season 2 yet so my prompts are really only season 1 based. That being said, I'll be caught up by the time reveals happen, so if you want to do something s2-compliant or diverge after s1, either is great! General: I don't know what good I did to the universe to get this show in return but wow is this blood-soaked grimly funny chase across London and Russia and half of Europe the show of my dreams. I love how bright Villanelle is in everything she does, I love her twisted undeniable logic and her unstoppable yearning. I tend to think of some level of Villanelle/Eve as basically canon, and though I'm leaving it off my request list in favour of my rarer Villanelle pairs, I don't think it's entirely avoidable and I'm totally here for that sort of conflict between Villanelle's multiple desires pulling her towards conflicting (or perhaps ultimately nonconflicting?) goals. Canon-compliant deathfic for Nadia is okay.

General: I know it's been five years since it ended but this is still the spy show of my heart and I love all these sad glamorous dubiously-moral assassins. Before Amanda's backstory reveal I spent some time headcanoning her as a Russian agent - feel free to run with that background if it speaks more to you than her canon one! I am fine with background Nikita/Owen, Nikita/Alex, Amanda/Alex, or Nikita/Ryan, but DNW Nikita/Michael.

General: This show has a thesis of 'why be a girl when you could be an eldritch horror instead' because it loves me, it really loves me. I love the bonds and the backstabbing and the love-through-horror, I love the changeling girls and the amount of respect it gives stories of self-creation. I love the contrast between the suffocating boarding-school atmosphere and the equally terrifying 'I would like to let the sky eat me' of the Rock and how that's reflected in the characters' emotional relationships. Permadeath of any of the requested characters is fine for this fandom, as is ambiguous/show-consistent explanations of what happened at the Rock. The show does so much excellent work with forests that probably want to eat you/nature which tries to eat you/nature which wants to crawl inside you and never come out and I want to see infinitely more of it! Sith and vampire AUs especially adored for this fandom.

General: Oh hey this weird book about fucked-up missionary siblings in clockwork Fairyland snuck into my life and ruined me and I would love to be further ruined by any fic you write! I really, really loved the Changeling!Cathy faux-reveal and was a bit put out by its last-chapter reversal (all books can do with more weird changelings, lbr), so any Changeling!Cathy fic - or fic where she's human but grappling with the fact that she enjoyed elements of the time when she thought she was a soulless creature - is always adored. Canon-compliant deathfic for Ariel is fine - especially if it leads to Mab further manipulating/fucking with Cathy, and Cathy continuing to spiral about her identity, but I am also thrilled by any AU you come up with where she survives or is brought back.

I love that it's a poem about beauty in emptiness, about connection and perception and ways to make the void meaningful. If you are poetry-writing-inclined I would absolutely die of delight to get an epic-or-otherwise poem in Martinson's style in response to this request, but it's super not a requirement so don't worry if you're not. General: I love the lush expansiveness of Tolkien's work, the history and the care and the sheer amount of space characters are allowed to take up and that we are able to fill in. I am up for any and all femslash with the requested female characters (including the requested characters shipped with OFCs or textual ghosts); I am also up for Melian/Thingol. I requested tricks for this fandom, but don't feel that your fic has to be all doom and gloom - moments of levity, happy couples dealing with supernatural things (happy couples murdering other things :D) are also excellent!

General: Yoooo these books. I love them as a changeling story, I love them as a story of nature-as-entity, I love them as a story of how desolation is never bleak and usually alive. I would prefer you use the characters' professions to describe them (eg "the psychologist" ) in narration, rather than their names. I am fine with canon-consistent 'being eaten by Area X' for either of the requested characters but DNW them to die in any other way. I requested only tricks for this fandom as it by nature is playing with some pretty dark questions about embodiment and environmental catastrophes and death, but there's plenty of potential for light and joy - there is plenty of light and joy for both the requested characters as they give themselves back over to Area X, so don't be afraid to lean into that. I've read all three books and my prompts do get kinda spoilery, but if you've only read Annihilation, I welcome fic based only off that.

General: I love that Whitney was set up as a certain image of Idealised Americana while Dottie at times tended towards being her own Idealised Russia. I love the darkness and potential for noir tropes that were hinted at but never fully explored. I love all of the weird awful things that could be done with zero matter. I love this show the most when it's about bodies and collisions and weird push-pulls of trust and these women's attempts at control. I am super open to darkfic here, and in fact prefer it. I'm not familiar with much of the wider Marvel universe and prefer you avoid anything that requires super in-depth knowledge of it.

General: I consider the campaign guide, artbook, and anything said on Talks Machina nebulously canon at best (and don't know much of what's said on Talks, because I can neither watch live nor afford Alpha) so feel free to conform to/depart from what they say as you wish. I'm familiar with most wider D&D lore/sourcebooks/mechanics from 3.5e onwards, including 5e's unearthed arcana, if you want inspiration for additional worldbuilding/plotting (though I know 4e best). I like fics that take into account mechanical D&D limitations (e.g. characters saying they need to rest before doing any more magic) but DNW characters using the actual real-world terms (e.g. characters saying they're 'out of spell slots'). Keyleth and Raishan both have significant sections in my everywoman letter from this year, feel free to incorporate any of those thoughts into whatever ship you write here.

I haven't played Witcher 3 yet, though I am thoroughly spoiled for it, so I'd prefer something set before then.
