Hello friend, it is Samhain and time for spooky things and I am so excited to see what you will write for me! If you want inspiration beyond this letter I am also kimaracretak, where I have a small but reflective-of-things-I-like set of bookmarks, and kimaracretak on 8tracks if you want #aesthetic musical inspiration.

I love these canons for the worldbuilding and mytharcs as well as their characters and relationships, and I am easy to please as long as you stay away from my DNWs (both general and canon-specific), so don't feel like you Have to write any of my specific prompts. Don't read anything into relative lengths of sections, I am equally happy to get something for anything in this letter! Some of these prompts are reused from old letters, and if you have written them for me before, rest assured that I loved your fic, I am simply greedy and would like to see every possible take on my favourite scenarios. A lot of my prompts are very horror-slanted, I suppose because it's August and I'm in the Samhaim Mood already, but if your muse is inclined to things less murderous, feel free!

I love everything from short introspection bits to long plotty missionfic to sex scenes as ways to explore character/setting/worldbuilding, and I don't need a lot of romance in my ships: sex for power, manipulation, or just between friends who want to have fun is also great. Please no unrequested ships unless specifically allowed for, but feel free to combine any compatible ones from my requested ones.

General: I've read most of the novels and have seen most of Crusade and have no strong feelings either way as to whether you use information/events from them or not. Anything you want to do incorporating the First Ones/weird fey space things is extra loved. Canon-divergence AUs are great, post-series fic is great. B5 was a really stunning take on not just war stories but people-in-war stories, and I love the plotty fics with complicated characters and dynamics that it lends itself to -- angst and darkfic and cosmic horror are all more than welcome here.

General: Please refer to Lilith as Lilith (rather than Madam Satan) for fic from her POV/from the POV of people who know she's no longer Mary Wardwell. I like worldbuiling and pre-canon stories, especially stories about Lilith slowly siphoning witches away from Satan, stories where Sabrina (or Zelda, or the Weird Sisters) sign their name over to Lilith directly rather than into the Book of the Beast, and stories about centuries of history and the distinctly inhuman perceptions and desires of witches and demons. There's so many levels of glorious fucked-up obsessive mentorship here along with, you know, the gore and the deification-via-cannibalism and I love all of them. Murder + in-fic resurrection/came back wrong is fine for any of these prompts. If relevant, I ship pretty much any femslash that's not Hilda/Zelda, Edward/Zelda(/Lilith), and Prudence/Sabrina/Nick as the OT3 and any component pairs. Any of the prompts from my worldbuildingex letter would be awesome, as would any of the Lilith/Sabrina, Lilith/Zelda, or Edward/Zelda marrige freeforms from justmarried this year.

General: I only vaguely keep up with the audio dramas, but feel free to incorporate however much of that canon as you want. Post-Mondas fix-its for Missy that don't involve her regenerating (or have her regenerating into Missy-again) are loved, but pre-Mondas fic is equally great. I like Time Lords using her telepathy and the sweeping glorious over-the-top-ness that characterises a lot of the show.


General: I like missionfic/casefic, especially for all the angst it gives post-Fall fic/preemptive angst it gives pre-Fall fics (I am entirely up to date on the canon), but they're not a requirement. For Amélie ships, I have no preference if fic is set when she's Amélie or Widowmaker or both, and I also don't have a preference for never-married-to-Gerard!AUs vs pining/infidelity/open marriage so - whatever works for your fic! If Mercy's relevant to your fic, I am happy to see dark!Mercy as well as Overwatch!Mercy. Leaning into the body horror aspects around Ana's missing eye encouraged (I have a special love for flowers growing in the empty eye socket, because, well, I'm me) but not required. Any AU based off any skins for the requested characters (e.g. witch!Mercy, pirate!Ana, comtesse!Amélie) is welcome even if I haven't specified the general version of that AU in my likes. If you want to address the age gaps in Ana ships, I really love how comfortable Ana is in her own skin, with her own age (even/especially her missing eye) and how that contrasts with her mixed feelings about what she's done, so anything that highlights that would be lovely.

General: This book was so good to me, you guys. Underwater criminal cities! First Order lore! Politicking! Leia being tired and bitter and just wanting to go on An Adventure! Mercenary factions! Space fights! Bloodline was great for showing the wider bits of the GFFA, and I love all the potential for worldbuilding it opened up, especially Varish and the Lonerans and Carise and Arkanis. I'm deeply indifferent to Han/Leia, so if you'd like to write Leia/Carise or Amilyn/Leia(Carise) or Leia/Varish, feel free to kill him off/pretend they were never married/presume an open marriage/whatever you like.

General: I didn't really enjoy seasons 4 & 5 of Atlantis, with the exception of Keller's presence and a couple bits of wraith lore, so would prefer nothing that relies too much on that part of canon. Fey things and sentient cities are love, old gods and half-gods and the promises and compromises made to survive in the Pegasus galaxy delight me. I'm not so much into the human-exceptionalism/campy-fun takes on the show. Canon-divergence AUs, especially Wraith Queen Teyla/Asuran Queen Elizabeth/Independent-from-Earth Atlantis, are love (all three in one fic or just one). Sentient Atlantis, whether as a worldbuilding detail or as a major plot point, will always make me happy. I love in-universe versions of the World of Darkness AUs - what is it like to be a Kindred in the Pegasus galaxy as opposed to on Earth? - or Stargate characters in the CtL versions of Arcadia/the Hedge/etc.

General: I am happy for any book details to be used for extra worldbuilding, but where the books and games differ go with the games. I follow the Scoia'tael path in Witcher 1 and Iorveth's in Witcher 2 and ask that you take the events of those paths as canon for your fic's worldstate. If relevant, I also ship Geralt/Yaevinn and Geralt/Yennefer/Triss, and love Geralt & Philippa as surprisingly idealistic murderfriends. For Sheala fic, please assume Geralt saves her in 'Enter the Dragon'.

General: I don't want any mention of Percy or Percy/Vex, and I especially don't want any acknowledgement of Scanlan's existence. Most of these are villainships, and they are darkfic requests. If you're going to write wanky moralising fic about how those are Bad Ships I'd frankly prefer you default now. I headcanon Raishan with a lowkey death/pain!kink so feel free to incorporate that. If you're writing during the campaign timeline, I am a fan of a Keyleth who may be sexually inexperienced but very enthusiastic about sex (even if she's using it as a tool), and prefer you write her that way as well -- I don't like ace headcanons from strangers. Acceptable background ships: Keyleth/Vax, Keyleth/Vex, Keyleth/Vex/Vax, Keyleth/Allura, Keyleth/Vax/Allura, Vex/Pike, Keyleth/Raven Queen, Keyleth/Vax/Raven Queen, Keyleth/Kash/Vax.

General: I have a special fondness for post-book fics for these girls, and if you're writing anything explicit, definitely set it so the girls are both 16+. I like fics that dig into worldbuilding way more than JKR ever did -- rules and costs of magic, lingering effects of the time-turner and the basilisk on Hermione, etc. Darkfic is welcomed and encouraged. I don't consider the epilogue canon and don't like Hermione/Ron. I have no idea what's going on with Pottermore/Cursed CHild things and would prefer you not incorporate things from them. No teacher/student relationships, even allusions to background ones.

While I know I said I don't want homophobia, etc up above, I think it's important (especially with Sam) to keep in mind that DADT was a thing that the expedition members would be dealing with and I don't mind acknowledgements that, yknow, that would shape how they approach relationships; as long as it's not used for excessive angst-fodder.

General: I do not want any mention of Poe, and I do not want any acknowledgement of Amilyn's death. If you set something post-TLJ I don't need a big explanation of how she survived (though rescue fic is Good), but I need her to not be dead. I'm slightly more flexible wrt Paige's death: while I'd prefer a fix-it, it's not a requirement. If you're writing episode ix speculation, no killing Leia off. I know this is maybe an unnecessary repetition of my character death DNW but given the current state of the canon better to be safe? I love both Reylo and Finnrose and am fine if you want to have them as background ships. No Kylo-bashing (e.g. no having Amilyn and Leia getting together while they're younger for the sole reason of making Ben never be born, but if Leia and Rey talk in the present about how much of a shithead Ben's currently being, well, he deserves it). I have a pretty good idea what's been going on in the recent novels and zero idea what's been happening in the comics, but feel free to conform to/depart from those events as you wish.
