The Locked Tomb
General: I cannot believe how long I spent ignoring these books because I thought the 'lesbian necromancers in space' tagline sounded silly when in fact these are some really excellent cosmic horror about how god's a jerk who needs to get shoved in a locker and also there's murder and the ghosts of dead planets and Vampire: The Masquerade's diablerie-as-devotion?? Hello hi I am in love. I am, as you may have guessed, very much here for the 'oh there is something deeply wrong with you (affectionate)' necros, and the plots to kill god, and the strange obsessive devotion that is Lyctorisation/murder/wearing other people's skin as a costume with which to kill god, and the ways in which traditional romantic love is deprioritised. I've not read Nona because I'm sulking over not getting either Abigail or Mercy in it, so please nothing that relies too heavily on Nona canon.
Note: I consider both 'canon-typical chomping in service of Lyctorisation' and 'canon-typical hanging out in a River bubble' exceptions to my character death DNW. For Abigail ships, I prefer Magnus either alive and fine (or implied-fine) with whatever Abigail's getting up to or Magnus eaten for Lyctor!Abigail AUs - I'm not as fond of the regular!dead Magnus + regular!alive Abigail combination.
Fandom-specific DNW: More-than-background Gideon or Gideon/Harrow, referring to the Fifth as 'parents' or explicitly placing them in a parental role (references to their canonical guardianship/influence over the Fourth is fine), the Fifth being characterised as 'normal' compared to other necro/cav pairs.
Abigail/Cytherea: I 1000% believe that Abigail 'self-described busybody' Pent clocked that Something Was Up with Cyth-in-Dulcie's skin, and in my heart she 1000% said something about it to Cyth before she got unceremoniosuly mangled. So:
Abigail/Mercymorn: Ohhh where do I START with them. Obviously the grief. Obviously the godkilling. I really like the idea of this in Lyctor!Abigail AUs, but any way you want to get them in a room (space station/River bubble/etc) together is good with me.

The Wheel of Time
General: Okay. Mildly unpopular opinion to start, perhaps, but I'm gonna put it to start because nearly all my ships involve Liandrin in some way, and - I think Liandrin is very, very good at what she does right up until she runs into Verin, and she never actually recovers from that. I also think she's fundamentally a lot more right than people - characters and fandom - like to think: the Whitecloaks are running around burning Aes Sedai at the stake and cutting off their hands (a really specifically misogynist way of murder)! The Tower can't protect full Sisters, much less random people out in the world! Now, should she do any of the things she actually does about that - well, no. But I think a lot of her beliefs are very justified in-universe, and I'm fascinated by the tension that creates between hers and characters like Moiraine who are too focussed on the Last Battle/Dragon thing to really take stock of what the world & its political structures are doing to people. 'Right but not good' is suuuuuch a crunchy character concept and I love how it played out this year. Rafe and Kate said 'what if we babygirlified Voryn Dagoth' (see below) and like. They're right.
Speaking of Dagoth, I have one general prompt that I'm also gonna keep up here because it applies to all ships: Morrowind AU! Like, I always like Morrowind AUs, but WoT specifically reminded me a lot of The Best Game Of All Time in season 1, and spent season 2 doubling down on both the thematic connections and specific story beats. Liandrin is more Voryn Dagoth than some Elder Scrolls attempts at Dagoth, Moiraine is Sotha Sil up to and including the 'enemy of the state' booty shorts, Siuan has identical 'gods save us from the queen' vibes as Almalexia, Lanfear is Kagrenac and followed his example in disappearing at the end of an age-ending battle, Nerevar's corpse is the unending Wheel, and Vivec is dead and Alanna is the Nerevarine who killed him. Do I truly expect anyone else to be at the centre of this venn diagram with me? Not really, but I've smushed my two favourite things together and am offering yous an invitation to the pit. It's nice down here! There's sweetrolls! Ignore the Ash Vampires in the corner.
Alanna/Liandrin
Alanna/Moiraine: I think a lot about how Alanna is Moiraine's only friend. Yes, she has a partner in Lan and a lover in Siuan, but canonically? One (1) Alanna-shaped friend, who's known Moiraine for sixty-odd years and never known her happy and stayed with her the whole time, despite Moiraine's best efforts.

General: Witcher books my beloved ... I don't wholly recommend them but I do love them. As these are Tissaia-centric requests - and, I'm gonna be completely honest, requests for either pre-canon fic or Tissaia lives!AUs - you can probably get by with just Time of Contempt. I've played all three games and enjoyed them, so feel free to use elements of them. If using game canon, please use the events of Yaevinn's path from Witcher 1, Iorveth's from Witcher 2, and Philippa killing Radovid in Witcher 3 (and yknow I'd not say no to Sabrina and Sheala both surviving, if I've not already gone too far in the realm of hypotheticals). Background Philippa/Sheala and Yennefer/Triss both loved. Anyway! Sorceresses whose love for each other matters soso deeply even if it cannot persist through the events of the world. I love them. I think they should live. I love both these ships, so please feel free to include both if you do as well (but even if you don't, please don't use the fact that you're writing one to devalue/completely shut down the possibility of the other - Tissaia has two hands dot meme).

- I mostly see Abigail ascending violently after Magnus forces her hand somehow, probably to save her, and I do think it was Cristabel's suicide that forced Mercy so. PARALLELS. ANGUISH. Worst coping mechanisms in the galaxy.
- Mercy had ten thousand years alive with Cytherea and somehow Abigail still saw Cyth alive more recently than Mercy did. Mercy would handle that extremely poorly and I want to read all about it!!
- Abigail the historian coming face to face with Mercy the living history.
- I have the very funny image in my head of Augustine starting to train Lyctor!Abigail, Abigail instantaneously driving him absolutely mad with questions about the founding of their House, and Augustine frantically pawning her off on Mercy like 'here Joy I brought you a present!!! please!!!' (Mercy: That's not a present that's Abigail Pent / Abigail: Yeah. It's me :D I'm your present :D) Do with that what you will.
- Mercy who wants to kill god vs Abigail who only didn't respond to John saying 'yeah I'm god' with 'uhhh sounds like a personal problem' because she didn't meet him on screen. Impeccable vibes. They should get to murder him together. Leetol treat.
- Mercy crawling into Abigail's River bubble post-HtN like Zora in Blackbriar's video for 'Weakness and Lust' ... the white robes of the First stained by the River that has no colour no light just ghosts ... Abigail and Mercy in the River together in any context, really.
