Guess who forgot agegapexchange reveals were gonna be today c/o being some variation of sick all damn week? Me! I had treating plans, but work and life both had other plans :(

Drusilla brushes her hair back from her face, the crimson brittle like dried blood, crackling cold over her skin. "Will they really, pet?" she asks softly. Mustn't frighten the fragile things, mustn't drop them from shelves just yet. "They're afraid of you and me. Too much magic, too much blood, too many spirals."

Drusilla makes a friend, or something close to one. Mind the AO3 tags for - among other things - extreme dubcon and blood drinking. Dru's an eternal, formative fave of mine, and getting to spend some time in her head nailing down her voice was an absolute joy.
