Hello friend, it is time for longfic and I am so excited to see what you will write for me! If you want inspiration beyond this letter I am also kimaracretak, where I have a small but reflective-of-things-I-like set of bookmarks, and kimaracretak on 8tracks if you want #aesthetic musical inspiration.

I love all these canons for the worldbuilding and mytharcs as well as their characters and relationships, and I am easy to please as long as you stay away from my DNWs (both general and canon-specific), so don't feel like you Have to write any of my specific prompts. Don't read anything into relative lengths of sections, I am equally happy to get something for anything in this letter! Some of these prompts are reused from old letters, and if you have written them for me before, rest assured that I loved your fic, I am simply greedy and would like to see every possible take on my favourite scenarios. A lot of my prompts are very horror-slanted, but if your muse is inclined to things less murderous, feel free! That being said, I'm extremely not into plotless/conflictless fluff or 'soft' takes on these characters/canons, and would prefer you avoid them.

I love everything from short introspection bits to long plotty missionfic to sex scenes as ways to explore character/setting/worldbuilding, and I don't need a lot of romance in my ships: sex for power, manipulation, or just between friends who want to have fun is also great. Please no unrequested ships unless specifically allowed for, but feel free to combine any compatible ones from my requested ones.

Gemini (2017)

General: Gemini is a quiet, neon-soaked neo-noir movie about an actress, her personal assistant, and her murder. It's also about mirrors, and long motorcycle rides through a very empty Southern California, and how nothing in that first sentence is really true. It's streaming on Hulu and it's REALLY GOOD and you should watch it kthx. Prompts contain movie-destroying spoilers.

Note: Character death DNW waived for the canon one.

Jaime: I love her unlikely friendship with Heather, and how that contrasts with her antagonism with Jill. How did she meet Heather or Jill? Did she know more about the Sierra thing than she let on?

Jill: Oh, Jill, she's such a particular intersection of genre-savvy and noir-cynical, and it leads her to such interesting places. Shipfic with Heather, including one-sided Jill -> Heather. Post-canon fic developing her own odd friendship with Jaime. Pre-canon: first meetings, first film she worked on with Heather, coping with Heather's people disliking her. Shipfic with Tracy, where they're using each other as Heather-replacements.

Heather: How did she come up with the idea to kill Sierra? Missing scene where she gets Tracy to let her use the cabin, and what she was thinking on the way up. Post-canon working on a film about what happened to her.

Tracy: Shipfic with Heather! Murder girlfriends on a murder road trip! Sierra may have been an accident, but I would love to see what would happen if Heather got a taste for it and went after other people who had wronged and/or irritated her. Canon divergence where Tracy succeeds in drugging Jill at her house and bringing her up to the cabin - they can genuinely have Jill's best interests at heart or not, as you like.

Sierra: Drugs + hallucinations? Was Sierra really supposed to die, or was it an accident? Did she agree to die for Heather and never imagine Heather was serious? I like the idea of her and Heather stuck in a haunted house, anything playing with their visual similarities. Times she stalked Heather.

Hannibal (TV)

General: I love this gorgeous dark dreamy murder show and I love all the ladies. I haven't seen s3 as of writing prompts, but I'll be caught up by reveals, so if you have a s3 idea that you want to run with, please do! I have some freeforms in this year's Darkest Night letter that I'd love to see in any of these requests.

Note: Character death DNW waived for casefic OFCs and all canon characters except Alana, Bedelia, Freddie, and Beverly.

Freddie Lounds: Freddie! She's a terrible person and also the light of my life. I love her. I am thinking ADVENTURES and also FEMSLASH, preferably both at once.

• Freddie/Abigail. I think she genuinely cared about Abigail (her 'very smart girls who grow up' line hit me way harder than I was prepared for), and I would be delighted to read 10k of their mind games as they write the book on Garrett Jacob Hobbs.


• Freddie and Abigail writing that book, but Abigail was the Minnesota Shrike either for all the kills or just Cassie+Marissa. (It took me til episode 12 to figure out that she didn't kill Cassie and Marissa. I am, uh, idealistic?) Freddie gets to enjoy being a serial killer's personal photographer/biographer, and also indulge her penchant for making things up so they don't get caught.


• Folk horror! I yelled a lot about the building blocks of folk horror and why they're great here, and Freddie would be the bestworst person to stumble into a folk horror story.


• Freddie/Beverly, of any sort but especially a murder basement/2x04 AU. If they had teamed up Hannibal would not have stood a chance, I am just saying.


• Freddie/Alana. Either Ripper!Alana/Investigator!Freddie, or something in canon - maybe they get together in the middle of season 2 while Freddie's playing dead, and Alana's initially just trying to prove Hannibal's innocent but Freddie slowly convinces her of the truth?

Alana/Abigail: They both spend a lot of time circling around killers, between Abigail luring girls for her father and Alana being her catnip-forkillers self, so I would really like something that explores what happens when those two get put together for much longer than they were in canon.

• Hannibal is basically just Terrible Boundaries Therapy: The Show and I would love some genuinely affectionate but also really profoundly terrible therapy sessions between these two. Shrike!Abigail or Ripper!Alana trying to hide their true nature from the other is a bonus.


• Alana gets herself put down as one of Abigial's guardians. She absolutely has Abigail's best interests at heart, but it looks appalling from the outside.


• Abigail follows Alana out the window, willingly or not. What changes?


• Ripper!Alana takes Shrike!Abigail as an apprentice.


• If you include smut (in any of these scenarios), I like the idea of Alana spanking Abigail.

Alana/Bedelia: I mostly just want them being hot and terrifying and brilliant, in any way you like.

• Roleswap! I am 1000% here for all Ripper!Bedelia/FBI!Alana or Ripper!Alana/FBI!Bedelia AUs, whether they start out on those roles or one of them manipulates the other into killing.


• Any kind of therapy session(s) between the two, in one of those AUs or in canon.


• One of them seducing the other away from Hannibal.


• Post-Italy debriefs.

Jordskott

General: Witchy murderforest of my whole entire heart and all the women and girls it loves, ahhhh. This show has so many beautiful things to say about love and care and loss and obsession and it's eaten me as surely as Silverhojd has eaten Josefine. Tell me stories about witches and women and love and life and forests and I will be so, so happy. I would be totally happy with gen, but I ship Eva/Jeanette, Eva/Klara, Eva/Laila, Eva/Zara, Laila/Zara, Esme/Linus, and Esme/Maja, if you want to write something shippy. I headcanon Linus as nonbinary, but don't feel beholden to that if you involve him in fics. You don't have to resurrect Klara/ignore her death if you're writing late/post-s2 fic, but I'd rather it not be dwelt on.

I would prefer not to see: Eva/Bahar, Bahar being married to a man, romantic/sexual ships involving Ida, Josefine, or Kalem

Esmeralda: Oh, this wonderful fierce girl. She grows so much over the course of the show, and I would just like my favourite witchbaby to have a nice time. Knit a jumper. Murder a man. Yknow. Nice times.

• Something set in the s1-s2 gap would be wonderful, showing how Esme grew from the rightfully distrustful lonely girl she was to someone who uncomplicatedly called Klara her foster mother and left that heartbreaking voicemail. Klara teaching Esme - anything from serious things about her powers to more simple 'no, you cannot actually eat that plant without dying'.


• I would love resurrection fic - Esme taking Klara back from the forest, Esme being given Klara-but-wrong by the trees, weird wonderful necromancy rituals with Ylva's help.


• Anything where Klara and Esme get to travel - maybe a post-s2 AU where Esme takes Klara to Stockholm to show her why she found the city so important, or maybe Klara has friends/contacts somewhere else in Finland/Norway/Scotland/wherever that she takes Esme to meet.

Eva Thörnblad: I love her endlessly! I love that she's allowed to be messy and traumatised and still good and not necessarily nice.

• Pre-canon fic. I would love to see some stories of Eva's life in Stockholm between Josefine's disappearance and her father's death, whether that's casefic or something else.


• Eva & Bahar post-s2 friendship/relationship repair. There's a lot of friendship and potential there, and I would love to see how they move forward together.


• Post-s2 learning more about changelings with Ida.


• Shipfic with Klara.

Ida: Darling girl! I loved her when we thought she was human and I love her now that we know she's a changeling. I love her uncanny ability to make friends, I love her art, I love how much she cares.

• Ida and Josefine, because true friendship can absolutely be found between and changeling and a tree. What effect does the changeling!Ida reveal have on her relationship with Josefine/the Josefine-tree in Silverhojd?


• Fic between seasons 1 and 2 in Stockholm with Eva and Tom. One of my favourite things about this show is how simply it just accepts the unconventional Eva-Ida-Tom family, without demanding that Eva be A Mother to Ida or anything other than friends with Tom, and I'd love something about their attempts at a normal(ish) life where Ida helps Eva mourn, Eva helps Ida live, Tom tries valiantly to keep up with them.


• Ida and Kalem on some kind of adventure in Stockholm or in the woods.

Laila Roos: Sad murderous witchbaby who just needs a friend: a not-uncommon theme in this show! Also why I love everyone so much. I love Laila's anger, and I want good things for her.

• Well, she mostly-murdered Eva so because I am me I ship her with Eva now. Post-canon reconnections in unexpected forms, letters written and sent or not, Laila's return.


• I'd also like to see her try to fashion something list a happy ending for herself post-season 2. Whether that's in Sweden or not - and whether it's happy for anyone around her - is up to you.


• An exploration of what her life would have looked like if someone like Ylva or Klara had found and helped her earlier, whether they succeeded or not


• Something mid-season where she and Bahar bond over working with Eva - so many secrets and tension there that I would love to see!
  

Ylva: I was stunned by how much love the show had for Ylva the first time around, she's such a rare, joyful embrace of all the most wonderful things about the crone archetype despite the pain she's gone through.

• Historical fic. She's a couple hundred of years old at minimum, so there's loads of time to play with. Anything about the way myth and history have interacted in Sweden throughout the years, women she's loved, supernatural creatures she's mentored, how Silverhojd was founded.


• Mentorship fic with Klara. I will never say no to resurrection fic (especially if Esme is also involved), but pre-canon as well, meetings throughout the years, magic lessons, helping Klara understand who she is.


• Ylva and the Josefine tree! Stories of all the times she visits Josefine, stories that she tells Josefine, explorations of what might have happened if she found Josefine during the missing years.


• Meeting and mentoring Bahar. Bahar would not be paid enough for what s2 put her through even if she'd taken that promotion, and I would love for her to find Ylva and become more acquainted with the forest.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit

General: I dropped out of the active fandom for this ages ago, and am definitely more of an early-seasons fan (up through the end of season 9, though I've seen through the end of 13), but if you want to set it somewhere more recent in the timeline, that's cool too! SVU has a really particular sort of mood, a cold comfort that's not quite bleak and not quite hopeful, and I'm really interested in the ways in which the female lawyers & judges negotiate their particular vocabularies of justice and care. I've seen Conviction but didn't really like it, so feel free to ignore it. If you want to combine any of these into an OT3, feel absolutely free.

Dani Beck: She had a rough time of it, huh? She's A LOT in sometimes uncomfortable ways, but she's a wonderful character who I wish we'd gotten more time with.

• Meeting up with Casey again during her suspension, whether that leads to shipfic or not. I think they could help each other out with their respective identity crises.


• Meeting wtih Olivia properly, in shipfic or not. Liv readjusting to not being undercover and Dani reeling from her time in SVU - they could be good for each other. Helping her out on a later case.


• Younger!Dani navigating law enforcement in Europe before moving to New York.

Alex/Casey: I love the brief moments they had together and I want more, especially without witness protection hanging over Alex's head.

• Season 13 AUs where they really, properly share SVU and SVU cases. Let Alex pass on advice and information and connections, let Casey have a sympathetic peer when things get too rough at work.


• Something where they find each other during the time Casey's suspended - turning to Alex to help understand how to put her life with the law on hold, while Alex adjusts to coming back from having her life on hold.

Alex/Olivia: Sometimes I feel like the show is actively trying to get me to stop shipping them but no they're old and forever favourites and I want more of them. More of their decades of being grounding, important, loved presences in each others' lives, more making the world better, more connecting and reconnecting over and over again. More hugs that don't need ... whatever 'Sunk Cost Fallacy' was leading up to them.

• I feel like there's a 'standard' set of episodes that get A/O post-ep fic (Guilt, Fallacy, &c), so I'd be really interested to see post-eps for some of the less-often-used ones — Manhunt, Wrath, Surveillance, Chameleon, any of your other favourites.


• Conviction but Alex isn't engaged to a dude and she tries to reconnect with Olivia — tentatively, with difficulty and some false starts, but they try.


• Season 10 or 13 reconnections that ignore Conviction completely, especially if Alex doesn't leave again at the end. Post-eps for any of the s10-13 episodes with an A/O spin.


• You can never go wrong with noir AUs or 'everything is the same but also vampires' AUs.


• A handful of moody song prompts, if you like those: 'Bones', MS MR, 'Symphony of Light', Phantasma, 'In the White', Katatonia.

Alex/Liz: I love the thin line between mentorship and desire they walk, and I'd love to see them negotiating that over Alex's departures and returns. They push each other in such important ways and I want to see all the ways in which they help each other grow. If writing shipfic, any and all power-dynamic negotiations.

• A version of Conviction where Alex's relationship is with Liz instead of that guy.


• AU where she never goes into witness protection. How does their relationship progress, especially after Liz becomes a judge? Alex & Casey would be an excellent additional relationship for this.


• Roleswap (Judge!Alex and ADA!Liz).


• Some kind of not-friends-but-definitely-with-sex-benefits things, where the point isn't even necessarily sex but just getting out of their own heads for some time. In this scenario, I would also be really interested to see how the relationship ends, not because they stop caring for each other, but because that stops being helpful, and how they negotiate that change in their relationship.

Alex & Lena: They had one of my absolute favourite attorney-judge relationships in any L&O - you look like hell, Alexandra, get some sleep is SUCH a particular kind of care, and their respect even manages to survive 'Guilt', I want infinitely more of it.

• I'd love something with epistolary elements here. Legal briefs, motions filed, email exchanges, the like.


• S10 or S13 reunions. I feel like Alex was really cut off from mentorships at that point, and she could really use someone to talk to.

Nikita

General: I know it's been years since it ended but this is still the spy show of my heart and I love all these sad glamorous dubiously-moral assassins. Before Amanda's backstory reveal I spent some time headcanoning her as a Russian agent - feel free to run with that background if it speaks more to you than her canon one! I also love canon-divergence AUs where Nikita was Cassandra's Belarus handler, even in fics that aren't strictly about Nikita/Cassandra.

Jaden: Jaden is FANTASTIC and she was robbed tbh, she deserved so much more. I love her determination, and the absolute conviction she brings to Division. She's ruthless and smart and since I did not get the Jaden spinoff show of my dreams, I have prompts.

• She's such a great foil for Alex and I wish we'd seen more of what their relationship would have been like in the real world, so any sort of Jaden-survives AUs where they keep running into each other and crashing each other's missions would be great.


• Something about her relationship with Amanda - either more of her acting directly as Amanda's protege (and Nikita somehow exploiting that?) or what seasons 2 & 3 would have looked like with Jaden still alive.


• Jaden-was-Nikita's-mole AUs. Any of them. All of them.


• Look, I'm simple, give me 10k of Jaden On A Mission looking hot and killing someone and just having a generally good time! She deserves it!

Kathleen Spencer: Minor character appreciation life! I want more fic with her where she does not have to be stuck in cage.

• Amanda/Kathleen dubconny mindgames! Amanda visiting Kathleen while she's in captivity, any previous history they might have had.


• Kathleen & or / Madeline Pierce. They're both on the fringes of Division, both set on using the organisation for their own reasons, and (likely) there's no great love between them, so: politics and scheming and all excellent things. Madeline surviving the car bomb & something exploring the fallout from that would be great.


• Post-canon/recovery fic. Like, fake!you killed herself! That has to be traumatic both personally and politically - how does she deal with it? Does Nikita help? (Kathleen/Nikita shipfic would be loved if you're feeling it.


• Or maybe the double doesn't actually die! What happens when they run into each other a week, a year, a decade down the road?


• I just really like the idea of her teaming up with Cassandra for SPY REASONS and also SPY SHENANIGANS. I know she's the president. She deserves to get up to some shenanigans after what she's been through.

Amanda/Nikita: They love each other so much! They're so determined to create and re-create each other and they're both so bad at pretending the other isn't succeeding. The whole bit in 2x18 with 'I broke your heart? You broke mine.' is like one of my top 5 scenes in television ever. I love them. I love how much they hate each other and how bad they are at hating each other and I love how much they want. I, too, want - more of them, and pretty clothes, and terrible loyalty and hair braiding and also knives.

• I don't love season 4, but I've made my peace with most of it with the exception of that bit where we watched Nikita obsess over Amanda for four seasons and then we were meant to ... believe she locked Amanda in a cell and ignored her forever? I don't buy it, and I want to see all of their visits, all of the manipulation-into-goodness that Nikita is so horrifically amazing at, all of the bad-idea sex with the weight of all their history.


• PRE-CANON FIC: Nikita's early days with Division, the dressing up and the missions and the undercover-as-a-couple and the whole idea of Amanda trying to teach Nikita how to human. Helping Nikita get reacquainted with her body and all the genuine affection but also completely unhealthy levels of possessiveness that they're both cheerfully ignoring for the moment.


• Or the exact opposite: POST-CANON FIC. I've made my peace with almost all of season 4, but that bit where we watched Nikita obsess over Amanda for four seasons and then we were meant to believe she locked Amanda in a cell and ignored her forever? I don't buy it, and I want to see all of their visits, all of the manipulation-into-goodness that Nikita is so horrifically amazing at, all of the bad-idea sex with the weight of all their history.


• Amanda trying to win her back after she leaves - sending gifts to safehouses she shouldn't know about and Nikita being scared but not scared enough. How much of Division would Amanda destroy to show Nikita how much she wants her back?


• AUs where they killed Percy early on and rule Division together.

Amanda/Madeline: How much do I love the whole Senator-and-her-unruly-assassin thing they have going on I love it SO MUCH and I want MORE than just the few episodes we got.

• Always and forever here for AUs where Sean dies in that car bomb instead of Madeline. What changes, and what doesn't?


• Early days of Division fic, personal missions/tasks Madeline gives Amanda, the two of them working on Madeline's (re)election campaigns.


• Madeline just. Showing up in Division after Amanda thinks she's dead to give orders directly and the epic power struggle that would kick off (Amanda successfully pretending to 99% of the agents that was absolutely her plan while plotting to kill Madeline :3)

Nikita/Alex: I just love the sort of messy awful affection they have, and how tenuous and non-linear it is. They could be so good for each other! They're not at all great at being good for each other! It is my favourite dynamic! Pretty clothes, possessiveness, angst, murder, lies - and, sometimes, improbable quiet runs along the beach.

• More time at the beach house, especially if Alex manages to save Carla somehow.


• Post-canon. They try to have a normal couple-y vacation somewhere abroad, but keep falling into SPY SHENANIGANS.

Overwatch

General: I am up to date with canon, but am happy for you to cherry-pick bits and pieces, or treat most of the specifics as a suggestion. I am equally happy with pre-Fall and post-Fall fics. For Amélie ships, I have no preference if fic is set when she's Amélie or Widowmaker or both, and I also don't have a preference for never-married-to-Gerard!AUs vs pining/infidelity/open marriage. If Mercy's relevant to your fic, I am happy to see dark!Mercy as well as Overwatch!Mercy. Leaning into the body horror aspects around Ana's missing eye encouraged (I have a special love for flowers growing in the empty eye socket, because, well, I'm me) but not required. Any AU based off any skins for the requested characters (e.g. witch!Mercy, pirate!Ana, comtesse!Amélie) is welcome even if I haven't specified the general version of that AU in my likes. If you want to address the age gaps in Ana ships, I really love how comfortable Ana is in her own skin, with her own age (even/especially her missing eye) and how that contrasts with her mixed feelings about what she's done, so anything that highlights that would be lovely.

Ana/Amélie: Not quite colleague-friend-lovers who can't quite kill each other, the best of the best who keep chasing after each other because there shouldn't be two of them but there are and an undeniable part of them loves it, aka the reason I fell into this game and this canon in the first place. I love the angst of their situationally-enforced separation and how they're women who draw lines between killing and leaving to die but can't quite examine the difference because that comes to close to their feelings. The problem of 'I should kill you but I can't hurt you because you have already hurt too much because of me' gives me life.

• Marriagefic! Undercover as married, or married post-Fall because Ana is guilty and her eye and Gerard are both gone and Amélie is alone and and nothing's right but maybe they can make it better, and at least someone else is close by.


• Post-Recall fics where Amélie's been rescued and Ana tries to help her adjust to leaving life-as-an-assassin behind while Amélie helps Ana come to terms with the fact that no matter what she says she was an assassin.


• Ana gets captured by Talon and Amélie helps her escape (and Ana either takes her along, or struggles with how Amélie couldn't escape with her).


• Semi-anonymous meetings while Ana's working as the Shrike - she knows exactly who Amélie is, but Amélie doesn't know who she is. Information exchanges, Ana trying to secretly help Amélie.


• If you're wanting to write smut, I am really into the idea of Ana agreeing to rough/extreme sex out of guilt for what she (thinks she) did to Amélie, and Amélie going with it because she's still not really connecting to her feelings, and just - everything about that gorgeously fraught bad-idea dynamic. Hatesex with Shrike!Ana that turns unexpectedly tender for tiny moments is also excellent.

Ana/Hana: There's the potential for so much emotional mentor/protege stuff here, and I want any and all of it. One of my favourite things about this pairing is just how many different directions it could go in, these are just some suggestions.

• There is a strong possibility for shenanigans given their 'youth is wasted on the young' / 'come on Ana, I bet you did all sorts of crazy stuff when you were my age' exchange. I would like to see those shenanigans, especially if they unexpectedly turn serious due to an omnic attack or something.


• Or you could do the exact opposite! Lean into the angst of Ana watching her lover having to fight another war because of Overwatch's old failures. Hana thinking that Overwatch would be a little more freeing than the Army, and Ana helping her cope when it's not.


• Meetings post-Shooting Star, and Ana helping Hana with the recovery.


• Something epistolary/video-epistolary - Hana leaving videos for her around the world, or doing streams with Ana. Anything that leans into Hana trying to juggle streaming with her army responsibilities in general.


• Or just give these two tired soldiers time to relax and enjoy each other's company - watching sunsets from various base rooftops around the world while Ana accompanies Hana on some world press tour.

Ana/Mercy: I love magic AUs for them - witch!Mercy is brilliant and I lived in that skin before All-Stars 2019, don't @ me it's perfect. In any universe, I like how long their relationship spans, and how it remains steadily affectionate, if not uncomplicated, through stolen technology and faked deaths. Mercy has a not-insignificant amount of hero worship for Ana, and I like both the uneven power dynamics of early-Overwatch days, the more equal footing they find themselves on post-Recall, and everything in between.

• Rez is already lovingly bonkers video-game logic, so why not make it even more excellently eldritch: rez either requires or is equivalent to marriage, and Ana and Mercy find that out the hard way. With or without marriage: lean into the horror aspects of rez/magic healing in general.


• Dark Mercy (with dark!Ana or not). I love Moira, don't get me wrong, but her release softed a lot too many of canon Mercy's edges, and I love all our old ideas about Mercy being responsible for the worst of what happened to Gabriel. What might happen if she ends up, involuntarily or not, leaning into all that power, all that potential for transformation? Combine with Ana's weaponised biotic tech and the world is probably not ready for them either.


• Ana has a complicated relationship with death and Mercy has weird messy feelings about being devoted to Ana but also having the power to kill and bring her back, so I am super into edgeplay-to-the-edge-of-death with them - maybe it goes too far, resurrection and guilt and the somewhat-ambiguous sense of betrayal that seems to hang over them.


• Post-Recall reconciliations. The kind of weary bonding that comes from having seen So Much Shit on the frontlines, realising the depth of their feelings during a mission and just being - hey, this really is an important person in my life, not just an important colleague.


• Bastet AUs or post-story fics: one where Ana and Jack do go see Mercy, or one where Ana and Mercy started a relationship while Ana was the Shrike (up to you whether Mercy knew Ana's identity, in that case!). Something that explores how Ana went from 'not seeing Angela, nope' in Bastet to 'actually I could live in Angela's kitchen now' in Valkyrie.

Ana/Mina: I am very simple: I love these two and I want them together. I fell in love with Mina in Echo's intro video and I want infinitely more of her. As First Strike isn't canon anymore, I'd love Mina being one of the Overwatch founders, but you can have them meet later if that's what you'd rather.

• Any kind of bonding over their determination to make the world better, possibly combined with fighting over each other's methods for making the world better.


• Mina faked her death and she and Ana have a brief Hawaii vacation before returning to the fight. This being the Overwatch world, their vacation is nowhere near as simple as they'd like it to be.


• Mina doesn't die because she's a vampire, and there's thank-fuck-you're-alive sex and also a 'holy fuck there's vampires AND omnics' crisis.


• Some kind of masked/anonymous meetings while they each think the other's dead and then they have to deal with the discovery of who the other is. Sex loved as a part of this, but optional.


• Mina was captured rather than killed in the blast, and Ana and Echo team up to rescue her. For extra angst, Echo turning into Mina for part of the mission to make Ana feel better.

Ana/Sombra: Sombra's not loyal to Talon for reasons beyond self-preservation, and I'd love to see Ana trying to exploit that somehow. Whether it's reluctant allies turned real friends, forced to work together once, or anything in between, I'll be delighted.

• 5 times they didn't mean to end up in bed together + 1 time they definitely did it on purpose. I'm weak for them trying to seduce the other away from their respective organisations, okay.


• Secret meetings between Sombra and Shrike!Ana, where strictly business transactions give way to an unexpected friendship.


• Espionage, spy shenanigans, and odd teamups in unexpected places where they pretend not to know who the other is in general.


• Something that leans into their respective proficiences in biotic and cybernetic engineering.


• I love them OT3'd with Amelie! Talon resuce time? Sombra acting as messenger and slowly becoming an equal part of their relationship?


• AU where Ana ended up founding Talon instead of Gabriel. How does that affect Sombra's willingness to work with them?


• One or both is a vampire.

Hana/Sombra: Women who were forced to grow up far too fast with excellent tech/mechanic skills, yes please!

• I think there is the potential for incredibly messy emotional stuff here - I really like the angst of 'trying to help each other recover and realising too late that they're doing the opposite' ships.


• If you're not feeling angst, genuine SAME TRAUMA bonding/recovery opportunities.


• Sombra trying to give Hana a chance at a normal life (sneaking her away from a press tour one night?) but not really having a great idea of what 'normal' looks like.


• Talon!Hana, maybe in a Korea-falls AU, or Talon just thinks her stardom would be useful to have on their side. Sombra is her reluctant handler.

Pretty Little Liars

General: I have a lot of affection for this ridiculous show and all of its 'attempted murder because spy shenanigans as a sign of deep love' girls! At its best it was a glorious feminist noir-horror pastiche, it was ... oh, nevermind, this is about things that I like! I like the noir-horror pastiche, more of that with more kissing please. I have fewer specific prompts for these, because it's really just me gesturing at early-seasons canon and going yes more, but it doesn't mean I want them any less!

Fandom-specific DNW: Fic set post-timeskip, including The Perfectionists canon. Character death DNW waived for this fandom.

Alison/Emily: Who needs to choose between fucked-up manipulative femslash and soft married with kids femslash when you get both in the same ship! I love them SO MUCH and rooted for them from the beginning, and I want them to keep a happy ending, no matter how much they have to manipulate each other into it.

Alison/Spencer: (Keep them related or not as you like!) Noir AU. I mean, PLL noir AU always, but for them specifically, oh I love it. Canonverse: Spencer always seemed to grapple the most with - not necessarily with wanting Alison to be dead, but with wanting to be haunted by Alison, and I loved all the ghostliness/almostness of that. Spencer dancing with her imagined Alison in Radley, angsty dreams, the struggle to readjust to having Alison after only having her ghost.

Hanna/Mona: Oh PEAK OBSESSION SHIP, I love how much Mona just wants to ... wear Hanna's skin as a coat because she loves her so much. I just want more of them, including/especially stories where Mona succeeds in pushing Hanna to turn much darker much more quickly. Murder road trip, maybe?

Spencer/Mona: EVERYTHING about them in s3, gods, I want infinitely more of that dynamic, manipulation, choking, and locking each other in haunted old asylums.

The Good Wife

General: I much preferred TGW doing legal stories to political stories (the endless identical campaigns were honestly starting to bore me by the end, sorry) and if you do casefic/plotty things I'd prefer legal ones to political ones. I only vaguely paid attention to season 7, and would prefer nothing that relies too heavily on it's canon. I have no strong feelings one way or the other on you integrating The Good Fight canon.

Rayna: I adore her entirely out of proportion to the single episode of her we got!

• Days-in-the-life at her and Elspeth's new firm - setting things up, learning to work with and enhance each other's particular legal styles.


• Pre-canon fic: law school, internships/clerkships, old girlfriends.


• Collisions with Alicia down the road, either canonverse or in AUs where Alicia wins one of her political campaigns.


• Jill Hennessy makes an extremely sexy vampire. Just putting that out there. VAMPIRE LEGAL BATTLES.

Kalinda: Kalinda is the love of my life, and I want good things for her. She always had such a full rich life, both around and - presumably - beyond - the firm, and the way she was ... present in the world, even though she was hiding for so long, was something I really loved. I've prompted some of my favourite Kalinda ships, but if you want to write your own favourite Kalinda femslash - like, her and Jenna in 5b taking down Damien or something - go for it! I don't have particularly strong feelings about Kalinda/Alicia, but I'm not opposed to it, and anything about their non-romantic relationship, and especially Kalinda's feelings on their friendship's loss and never-quite-recovery would be really lovely. And, obviously, post-canon fic - my preference there is definitely for Kalinda/Lana, but as long as she's happy, or working her way there, I am happy too!

Diane/Kalinda: My absolute everything wrt loyalty/competency kink.

• Remember how Kalinda had an entire notebook just for Diane Things? I would love a fic that integrates the contents of Kalinda's Diane Notebook.


• Mentorship, care, how messy things get trying to navigate the power differential of a boss/employee relationship when Kalinda is such a nontraditional employee.


• First meetings, or anything pre-canon. Figuring out how the other woman uses power, using cases to prove their worth to each other (because nothing will convince me Kalinda was not evaluating Diane as much as Diane was evaluating her.


• Post-canon happyish ending, with Kalinda at Diane's own firm. I'm indifferent to Diane/Kurt, feel free to ignore it, and I don't care how much/little of The Good Fight it aligns with.

Lana/Kalinda: Gods, give them the world. I've never forgiven Cary for outing Lana to her boss, and if you want to pretend that never happened I am more than fine with it.

• I'd love post-canon catharsis for them - maybe they try living together, maybe they find other ways to have a relationship.


• Something about their cat-and-mouse games from the earlier seasons would also be great - casefic, investigations, deals for information.


• Season 4 AU, now with 1000% less Nick.


• Kalinda showing affection in ways other than speaking, things Kalinda has written about Lana in her journals.


• The ways in which they turn protecting each other into something beneficial rather than smothering.

Sophia/Kalinda: I really liked them as an on-and-off thing! Some kind of through-the-years thing would be nice, what they look like when they don't have a case between them.

UnREAL

General: Shows I did not expect to ruin me: this. Shows that have ruined me: also this. I didn't love season 4 except the very end, and in general would prefer something where Quinn and Rachel are unambiguously on the same side - massive intra-ship dysfunctionality encouraged, but I like their us-against-everything vibe. Mary's canon death can be referenced/included, but if you feel like bringing her back as a vampire I'm not gonna say no (I never say no to vampires).

Rachel/Quinn: I don't ... even know where to start with this. I love them SO MUCH and they love each other SO MUCH and they are SO BAD for each other even when they're trying not to be and yet they're still the realest and best things in each other's lives?? I can't handle it. I want them to win shit. I want them to murder a dude who deserves it. I want more of Rachel falling asleep in Quinn's lap, or bedsharing. I want, in general, more of them choosing each other and that not meaning they have to deal with shitty men first. Some potential specifics:

• An earlier season of Everlasting. Not necessarily the one that ended in Rachel's breakdown, but just Rachel getting to be her best dragon self with some suitor + girls under Quinn's approving eye.


• An earlier season of Everlasting, but everyone's a vampire. Especially if you go full World of Darkness Requiem or Masquerade AU, and Rachel's producing talent is as much about emotional manipulation as it is in navigating clan politics.


• Post-canon, dealing with the fallout of the mansion burning.


• Murder mystery, whether it happens on set (someone dies and it's not nearly as easy to cover up as Mary's death), or during a season break and Rachel/Quinn calls the other one to help them fix it. For darkfic: one of the girls is a serial killer, and the girls who get sent home start showing up dead.


• Time between seasons, trying to do their own thing but still hyper-aware of each other's presence. Late-night phone sex during season breaks because they can't be without each other for that long, and it seems easier than doing anything in person.


• Epistolary elements - emails, texts, call sheets.


• If you go for smut, I know Rachel is ... Rachel about female authority figures but if there's a person in the world Quinn would sub for it's Rachel Goldberg and them figuring out that entire moment where it shifts from Quinn going 'see what I can make you do to me' to Quinn genuinely giving up some control? Extremly good and hot.

Zone Blanche | Black Spot

General: I have a deep love for half-dead half-forest women and this show has truly left me spoiled for choice amongst them! Sad cops? Tired medical examiners? Girls with disturbing archery skills? Old bartenders possibly as old as time itself? I love them all! Gimme creepy things in the forest and I'm in love. I have a slight preference for came-back-wrong/never died Marion & Camille over pre-death/dead Marion & Camille, but it's truly slight, I will love anything you write me even if they stay dead!

Camille Laugier: So much guilt and so many missed opportunities.

• Something with the crows. It's implied they only started showing up after Marion died, but have they followed her in different forms before then? How does she communicate with them? Does she join them after she dies?


• Canon divergence post-s1: Cora doesn't find the thumb drive, and Camille has to live with her, and Camille tries to comfort her & move forward with her while knowing exactly what she did to her mother.


• 2x04 AU where Camille - or the idea of Camille - visits/haunts Cora or Lea or Laurène or Sabine instead of Hermann.


• AUs where Marion only mostly dies, and a half-forest half-Marion creature comes looking for answers.


• Something with Lea. Maybe Camille goes to her first to see if she knows what her family was planning, maybe Lea - extremely un-supernatural Lea - feels guilty and starts looking into ways to bring Camille back.

Laurène Weiss: See above re: always weak for half-forest half-dead women. I want anything - I would honestly be happy with 10k words of lovingly described scenery porn as she wanders through the forest looking for Sylvaine or dreams about being dead.

• TIME LOOPS - the forest revives her so many times, I would love a Laurène-centric time loop, especially if she needs to die or kill someone to reset it.


• *Points at apotheosis like, including the nonconsensual and accidental versions of it* The forest loves her! The forest thinks she should be a god! Laurène does not have any input in this decision!


• Canon divergence where she gives up on Bertrand a lot earlier, even/especially if she (accidentally?) kills him.


• Shipfic with Camille. I ship them a lot, requited or not - all of Camille's yearning for approval through her guilt combined with Laurène's unwillingness to get too close despite her affection combined with the literal murder.


• Camille and Laurène or Marion and Laurène meeting in some liminal death-space (especially if Laurène is dying over and over again to stay close to her and coming back worse each time). Having the conversations they didn't have in life, especially if they have them over and over again because they lose them to time loops.

Leila Barami: Leila is under-loved and I would like something where she gets to be the centre of everything!

• Shipfic with Laurène. I feel like they would have the sort of relationship that looks totally normal and healthy from the outside (childhood friends/occasional lovers!) but that is ... not that, because, well, they are themselves and Villefranche is Villefranche, and it's a question of more/less fraught rather than fraught or not.


• Leila's all-nighter. What did she see? Was it before or after Laurène's, and how do their different experiences there affect their relationship going forward?

Marion Steiner: Marion is super present in s1 for all that she's missing/dead for all of it, and while I LOVE how we got to see how other people put her pieces together, I'm interested in something mostly from her POV here.

• Came back wrong! Marion is back and something is absolutely not right but Cora thinks she can love her back to normal anyway. Marion is back but she's exactly the same and absolutely furious about it.


• Pre-canon fic about her environmental activism. How did she meet the Children of Arduinna, what was her work with them like, how did she find out about her father's plans.


• Roleswap: Marion tells Cora about the thumb drive earlier, Cora goes missing instead of Marion, and Marion tries to help her best friend's (girlfriend's?) mother grieve, while knowing her father is probably somehow responsible and she needs to figure out how to expose him without also going missing.


• What was her all-nighter like? Did she go through hers before she died, and, if not, does that still affect her somehow after death?


• Shipfic with Camille. They're not super far apart in age, so it's not implausible they knew each other at school/on the fringes of similar friend groups, so - how they met, everything that lead up to Marion's death, meetings in some kind of afterlife space, timeloops of the day she died.

Sabine Hennequin: Sabiiiine she's the soul of Villefranche and one of my first loves in the show. I would love pre-canon fic for her, how she came and why she stayed, or anything that leans into her role as mentor & activist. In the most optional of optional worlds, if you've also seen Jordskott, I would be delighted to see her meet Ylva in some kind of crossover.

• Fic where she's some kind of weird immortal is awesome - whether it's because she's some type of creature or because the forest gave immortality to her as a gift. How she gained immortality, how she's seen the town change throughout history.


• I love her friendship with Anna, maybe something about how she took Anna in in the early days (or maybe Anna wasn't the first woman she helped like that, if you lean into the old/immortal aspect of her).


• Sabine-and-Villefranche stories! I would love the story of Sabine's all-nighter, if you want to lean into the supernatural/horror bits. Or anything leaning into the small-town politics of Villefranche.


• Canon-divergence fic with Camille, where Sabine figures out what's happening and tries to help her, whether she fails or suceeds.


• Anything about the questionably-willing mentorship she's developed with Laurène - I like the idea of Sabine as someone else who is loved by the forest, and maybe has a deeper understanding of it than Laurène, but not really great at communicating it.
